Will a tough call have to be made soon about the potential for religion to drive people dangerously crazy?
This thought occurred to me as I was writing the previous question. Say that law enforcement officers will one day be issued with a checklist that is like a psychological profile of people who have a greater potential to go crazy and harm others. I think something this exists already but it’s one of those ‘on the job’ things that police officers learn. But what happens one day if the violence of religious people escalates into something truly abhorrent? Sure, 9/11 was such an event but I’m talking about a Western religion, you know, a worshiper of the invisible Jesus; what happens if a group of Jesus worshipers pulls off a 9/11 event? Law enforcement officers will have to make the tough call that Jesus worshipers have a greater potential to become dangerous and violent, and the greater the faith displayed in the Jesus worship, the greater the potential for violence. How will this affect the police when many of them are themselves, Jesus worshipers? Will it make it harder for them to do their jobs? Will they need to be replaced with robots?

It is the made-up religions that drive mankind crazy.
The True Faith of Christ given to Peter and the Apostles is divinely beautiful, holy and sanctifying. It is Traditional Catholicism of the Council of Trent.
Today the world knows CONCILIARISM and it hates it. It calls itself "catholic" and you see it everywhere today. The world hates the Vatican 2 Conciliarism. Bishop Sheen, however, was exemplary as the Catholic that the world admired. There is a difference of night and day between True Catholicism and false Conciliarism, regardless of what Conciliarists misname themselves.

As long as Christianity is the religion of the majority in this country that will not happen. They will not acknowledge that fanatics can come from their own back yard and will not take any steps to keep the nut cases in line. Sad but true.
On another note...This isn't something that should be a part of our laws but be a part of their own religion frankly. They should be policing their own. But deep down in side I think from my own experiences that they secretly agree with many of the fanatics and won't do much because as long as they don't target any of the ones that the regular or more moderate Christians consider their own, only targeting nonbelievers, then they will do nothing. Just blame it on the individuals and not the system or beliefs that spawned them.

i don't think of i'm attempting to make a ingredient, i'm only addicted to R&S (that could mean i don't have a existence or some thing like that). a million. i think of *some* human beings *get* and get excitement from me from the e mail and weblog comments i'm getting and that i think of I irk persons who do not want knowledgeable responses messing up their concept structures, indicated with the help of the thumbs down and espresso troll activity i'm the sufferer of. 2) a number of my perspectives have replaced right here and there because of the fact i'm involved in understanding what's real and which ability sorting by using customary fads of thought and misinterpretations of information besides as indoctrinated concept. i don't carry onto suggestions when I understand that they won't carry water. i understand that ideals are all provisional and speculative, and that i don't have a project with paradoxes the two. 3) i think of I replied that in the time of ingredient #a million. 4) i don't have strategies. or maybe I only prefer to furnish "real" solutions and upward thrust above or counter the bravado, preaching, etc. in this communicate board. I only respond the two with what i understand is "real" knowledgeable information or with humor and that i'm getting excitement from coming upon real information or humor. i'm going to famous man or woman something that makes me snort. i may additionally come across with that final paragraph with the help of the Dude. inspite of all the intense-falutin' ideas, issues are surely rather complicated--and it is going to be that way, yet it feels uncomfortable. It's not religion that drives people crazy-it's their circumstances (financial, emotional, etc) Consider the Taliban. They are recruiting people from the slums-people who have no hope for the future, no money-and are offering them and their family money and education. They use religion as a recruitment tool.
What about the recent white-supremacist killing? What kind of person blames Christianity for such an act? No one in their right mind would.

Judging by the hate comments toward "religious" people in this category on Yahoo Answers, I would say that religious persecution might come first, don't you?
John 15:18-21
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you... If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you... because they do not know Him who sent Me."

I think its just a matter of time before some crazy christians( their all crazy, but i mean extra crazy) start shooting people at pro choice rallies. I don't trust anyone that would commit horrendous acts of violence because of some silly belief. Look at the crusades...

Most of the cops are from religious homes or of that frame of mind (the police force itself acts like a crazed cult at times with their self righteous Us vs them mentality). They may find it difficult to pick crazy nutcases out. theist have a difficult time nowadays picking out the crazies.
this 'call' should have been made a long long time ago

i don't recall any planes being hijacked by christians and flying into the twin towers. probably better to worship an invisible JESUS than say, a dead Mohammed.
