Best Fish and Chips in Whitstable, Kent?
My family from up north are coming down this weekend and I would love to take them to Whitstable for fish and chips on the beach - where is the best place to get take away fish and chips from?

Whitstable's a lovely place and I've had some good meals there but I've never had fish and chips there so it's hard to suggest anywhere specifically. If you head towards the harbour there are loads of places and you can then get down onto the pebbly beach. This website http://www.seewhitstable.com/ has lots of info about Whitstable and restaurants - there are some very nice but expensive restaurants and also more pocket-friendly places.
Enjoy! I hope the sun shines for you... If you would like sandy beaches, you'll need to go east along to Westgate on Sea or Margate.
