If natural selection really means survival of the fittest, explain the Qs & As on the R & S board.?

    Natural selection does not mean "survival of the fittest." So, I suppose that throws a stick in any of those proposed questions and answers.

    It is about adapting to the presented circumstances.

    Survival of the fittest works when the environment changes. If you are able to adapt you survive if not you go extinct. Its a simple concept, I really don't see what problem there is in understanding it, that you mock it. It is obvious and logical.

  • Don't embarrass us, dude. We know human beings are a loathsome species.

    But leave natural selection out of it. It probably tried its best to bring in the fittest through the process.

    It's not always the fittest that survive. It's the individuals that adapt the best to changing environments.
