How good of a play-offs did .....?
Anaheim Ducks, Ryan Getzlaf have?
I do not believe, even though the Ducks were eliminated rather early that people aren't talking about him more often!
Also, imagine where his points total would have been if the Ducks were able to knock-out Detroit in the second round!
I agree, the West is IGNORED to some extent!
KILL, he is one of mine as well, he doesn't get the credit imo.
2 answers so far about Getzlaf, goes to show you how popular of a HOCKEY PLAYER he is, SAD!
Again, being in the West, not many PITTSburgh fans know much about him or the game again. Seems they only know one thing, oopps, make it 2 things, ha ha.
We know the section has been dominated lately by uh, hum, PITTSburgh fans.
He played "how many play-off games"?
He was responsible for all of his team goals whether he scored 1 or 2 of them however at one time he assisted on all but 3 or 4 I think and still was in the top 5 or so (correct me if I am wrong there) for scoring, almost, playing 2 less series than many others! If Anaheim can improve it's roster, there is no reason to think they can't compete more in the West next season...

I was rather impressed with his 10 points against the Wings, for as physical as a series that was!
But, he did great things against the Sharks as well, he single handily beat Thorton in Round 1. That fight... priceless. Scoring a goal, (and I think getting an assist in the same game), was priceless as well. So he got the good ol' Howe Hat-Trick if that's true.
But, Getzlaf is my FAVORITE player not wearing a Penguin on their sweater, the guy is so intense, talented, passionate, and physically driven. I remember in the Wings series, he checked the Wing, (I forget who he was), then screamed over top of him, telling him to get up. That was my favorite non-Penguin moment of the playoffs.
Forgot to mention... he was the best skater drafted in the NHL Draft! He was selected 19th overall, if I'm not mistaken in that GREAT, GREAT draft. How the hell did he drop down that far, when he's had the most success IMO out of all the skaters in there, (I say the only argument is Eric Staal--who btw if played in a big market, would be on the level as Ovechkin too).

I believe if we made it to the finals he would probably be Conn Smythe
If Ryan Getzlaf was in the Eastern Conference, he'd be the next Ovechkin. I love how the Western Conference is always ignored.

Very underrated because he plays in California. I have him ahead of guys like Eric Staal, and Mike Richards.

A good playoffs but everyone was watching CAR vs. BOS and PIT vs. WSH.
