WWE is Scripted. It is Sports Entertainment.
The Results and endings of the matches are predetermined.. And the rivalries are just story-lines...
The moves they do in the ring are real enough..
It is basically a show, with a mixture of Wrestling, Acting and Athleticism.. But, sure as hell entertaining!

This question always creates a debate, the overall answer is yes!
however, when a wrestler throws a punch, their fist does connect with the opponant, when they go through a table - they do really go through a table and often mistakes are made resulting in proper injury.
Professional wrestling has whats known as a booker - he is never shown on screen and is never a part of the script. the booker decides who wins and loses. This is why people call wrestling predetermined.
All the wrestling moves are real, kicks connect, slams force the opponant down to the mat with force, but the mat is cushioned and has a big spring underneith it, the punches are done with an open fist, the kicks are done with a limp leg, every move is preformed to look painful but they all have a way to be done safely thus to not cause pain.
When a move is done wrongly (by this the move could miss the wrestler completly or accadently hurt one of the wrestlers) this is called a botch - the botches that miss completly pretty much prove that wrestling is faked as often the opponant will act hurt. - look up wrestling botches on youtube and ull see what i mean.
Other tricks such as tables are made of partical board and will actually break a wrestlers fall, trashcans are made of aliminium which bashes easily - ull know this if uve ever crushed a coke can.
Everything you see in a wwe ring has a booker deciding who wins/loses and the moves are designed not too hurt, if a wrestler does ever get injured its likly a storyline or somethings gone wrong.

While WWE athletes are very well conditioned the outcome of all matches are predetermined. On the one hand it is fake, and not a true sport ( sports do not have a script.) On the other hand it does take a great deal of athleticism to execute some of those moves. It also takes focus to pull the punch ( so to speak ) that would otherwise seriously injure, and perhaps even kill the opponent.

I'm convinced that wrestlers hit the mat, when they get body slammed, suplexed, or miss an aerial maneuver. Hit the floor when the wrestler gets thrown over the top rope or misses with a moonsault. Seeing John Cena wrestle, the way he gets beat up for twenty minutes, then bounces back with the "Four moves o'fury" to win the match, I don't blame you for saying wrestling is fake.

It is and it isn't. I mean, it is scripted, and they are meant to be safe, but there are many mistakes made, and the pain they go through is real. So, the actual show isn't real, but if they look like they are hurt badly, (unless it's the Rock) they may be. Like a week ago, Kennedy gave Orton a back suplex, and Orton got right back up and was holding his back. That probably hurt. But like, when Matt Hardy hit Kofi Kingston with his cast, it didn't hurt at all.

Its choreographed. I have a friend on proffessional wrestling and he spends hours working with the other wrestlers on moves. They still hurt but they do them right so they dont do that much damage.
So yes, its all fake.

yes it is wrestlers r semi professional actors that is why many wrestlers become movie stars and also if u pay enough attension to wrestling its not had to spot all of the fake punches and other BS

No. EVERYTHING they do is real. When Cena got thrown into the 1,000 watt power lightbulb, hes so tough that he overcame the odds despite ALL of that, came out the next night. What a fighter that John Cena is!!!
