What techniques do you support for environmental protection, that are realistic?

Green belt and planning restrictions would be mine and as you mention landfill the alternative is energy from waste.

Well, I mean landfills are kind of the only thing we can think of now. I think that they are not helpful. But what else are we going to do with trash? I think we will start shooting into space, soon.... sadly.... I really would be against that.

I support limits on vehicle emissions and gas mileage, and thank god that soon they will become a lot more strict.

1) Subsidize reusable grocery bags (which are made from recycled materials). Stop offering plastic ones at grocery stores.

2) Eliminate subsidies on corn, soybeans and canola. Eliminate patents on agricultural seeds. Educate people about what Monsanto and Cargill have done to this country's farmers and consumers.
