Keds and what sort of pants / trousers?

Question

I have just bought a pair of lace up Keds and not to sure how to wear them. Seeing as its the summer and i'm a girl, would they look good with Capris/crop trousers? Or is that a big no no? I would wear them with jeans but its too hot!

Capris are always good with Keds sneakers.  I also think the skirt looks nice (see the other person who answered).

The girlfriend wears them with Capris, Shorts, or a tan colour denim skirt.
