What's the best way to find the value of my used vehicle?
I feel my internet searches aren't helping... I just want to find how much my used car is worth, and for future reference, I'd like to know the best way to find out. Is there a specific (and reliable!) website I can go to? Or is there some other place I should search?

Use:
Kelly Blue Book,
Edmunds,
and NADA
Enter as much information as possible at each site. Be honest with yourself about the vehicles condition. It is a very common mistake to rate your vehicle in better condition that it really is. Any potential buyer will quickly pick up on this and steer away.
The three sites will not exactly agree. Average the three prices and you will be pretty close.
The ultimate value of your vehicle is the size check that someone else is willing to write you for it.
Good luck.

I would buy a local used car magazine and compare your car to other cars listed (I use the bargain finder). The important aspects are its make and model, year, and probably most important, it's milage.

the "Used Car Appraiser"
here: http://www.edmunds.com/tmv/used/
is more accurate than kelly and many others
