can anyone tell me are opk's?
100% as i am on day 10 of my cycle and i have had positive opk yesertday all day yes i did babydance but they were negative this morning,i have ovulated around this time before,but what im unsure about is are opk's 100% reliable? and if the positive line is darker than the control line is that definate ovulation? i have swollen tummy is this a sign ovulation is occuring to?im not sure on that one either hope someone can help me out hugs and babydust to you all xxx thanks for any answer's NO RUDE ANSWERS THANKS

I hate those OPK's because they are so hard to read...i can never tell they are pos or neg..they should use letters..anyway to answer your question. nothing is ever 100% reliable but they are really pretty accurate. just look for signs with your body, dates to corrispond with ov and the test and you should be ok don't stress, it can screw up things too. i don't think a swollen tummy is a sign of ov, just cervical mucus, possible spotting, possible cramps and a spike in BBT. best of luck

No-OPKs only tell you that they have detected the lh surge, it in no way does it guarentee ovulation. it only shows that your body has geared up for ovulation. You should consider using Fertility friend where you chart your temps. I got pregnant the first month using that and preseed.
