you should go buy lizard vitamins, it is a powder that you mix with the live crickets or meal worms. it isn't expensive and easy to mix. that is all i fed my old leopard gecko. he lived for a long time and was very healthy. good luck with your new lizard!!

u managed to kill it yet avocado pears are poisonous to most reptiles its diet and care depends on species, its like an insectivore (eats small insects you can easily by cricket fruit flies, roaches etc from petstores) but without the correct ID no one can help you a picture and a location found might help p.s. ignore the guy above most tap water is ok but bottled water is better and majority of gecko species are arboreal/semi arboreal. I love the way people think Oh i have a beardd dragon that means all lizards need to be looked after like a beardie. this is not true as i said u need to find out the species u have and the u can find out the correct care

OK it is likely the lizard is an insectivore but without knowing the species no1 can confirm if its an insectivore, herbivore, omnivore, specialist carnivore etc

Crickets are good but don't feed it that all the time, give it variety. You could feed it meal worms(available at most pet shops) or even fruit and veggies.

All living things need nutrtion and that comes with different types of foods.

do u no that it need specail lighting, a rock or another rough surface so it can shed it skin.
