US Citizens' benefits - This is what they can legally do:
• Take advantage of usury (there are no laws against usury in the US).
• Keep & observe whatever religion you want.
• Use the U.S. Constitution in most US courts.
• More access to TV channels that broadcast from across the world (most of them are censored).
• More access to Websites (less censorship).
• Sue whoever mistreats you (they must carefully chose who they want to sue).
• Own a corporation, as if it was a real person with rights.
• Kill trespassers.
• Arrest bad "law-enforcers/police".
• Foreigners, who give birth to their children in the US. will instantly have U.S. citizens in their immediate family. In other words: Those children will automatically become U.S. citizens because they were born in the US.
• Poor people are more likely to get free food & shelter (especially when they're immigrating) in the US.
• Foreigners can become U.S. citizens just by "legally" marrying another U.S. citizen.

I will try to be objective and positive in what are the benefits if you become a US Citizen.
1. The Right to Vote: A Fundamental Right of a U.S. Citizen. Being a US Citizen provides many privileges. Voting in elections is one such privilege. New citizens are expected to participate in elections and to adhere to the principles of tolerance and understanding towards differing points of view, which is the philosophical basis of the system of government of the United States.
2. The Right to Change Things for the better: A Fundamental Right of a U.S. Citizen. Being a US Citizen allows you to start “grass-roots” movements and influence local, county, state, and federal legislatures in passing laws to improve things. But this process is long, tedious, and done without pay. Most US citizens do not participate in this process and sometimes the laws you want are never put into action.
3. Protection in Cases Involving Illegal Activity. U.S. Citizens have the right to an attorney and a fair trial without the threat of being deported.
4. International Travel Made Easier. As a U.S. Citizen, you are not restricted on the amount of time you can spend outside of the U.S. and are not subject to obtaining a re-entry permit. Additionally, travel can be more convenient as many countries do not require visas of U.S. citizens.
5. Protect your Children's Right to Remain in the United States. Children of U.S. Citizens, are automatically born U.S. Citizens. Also, permanent resident children under the age of eighteen, who are in the lawful legal and physical custody of their naturalizing parent(s), automatically become U.S. Citizens when their parent(s) becomes naturalized.
6. Travel within all 56 political divisions of the United States without permission from the government.

The right to have a United States passport and receive assistance from U.S. Embassies and Consulates when traveling abroad.
Be able to sponsor family members so they can obtain green cards and legally immigrate to the United States.
Children of U.S. citizens are automatically U.S. citizens by birth (in most cases, even if born outside the United States).
Security from removal (deportation) from the United States, since a U.S. citizen cannot be deported from the United States.
The right to live or take long trips outside the United States.
The right to vote.
Obtain certain federal jobs.
An unquestioned right to return to the United States, since citizens cannot be denied entry.
The right to apply for certain federal and state benefits.
No need to renew a Green Card upon expiration

Lost of benefits - mentioned above.
the down side is that any american citizen may be declared an enemy combatant at any time and sent to guantanamo bay to be TORTURED.
See Jose Padilla - a LEGAL US citizen who was tortured just for being a muslim.
(while they claimed he built a bomb - they had NO evidence and tried him in FAULTY evidence). They STILL jailed him.
There is NO FREEDOM of religion in USA any more. Muslims are now being watched!!!
Cat stevens was denied entry to USA because he is a muslim.

You will be a member of one of the greatest countries on earth. You have the right to live and work anywhere in the 50 states and territories.
People who disrespect their own US citizenship are often those who've had the happy accident of being born in the USA. They have no inkling or understanding about those who immigrate and start a new life in a new land. They take it for granted with their foolish attitude.
If you're eligible for American citizenship, then go for it!
