Just got back from DisneyWorld. There were no special price reductions and the place was packed.?

I think that means that consumer confidence is on the rise and the economy is getting better. Agree or disagree?

disagree-Wouldn't use your one time trip to DisneyWorld as an economic barometer.

P.S. there are always price reduction packages.

Disagree -- live next to SeaWorld in San Diego, CA...it's packed all the time too.

Went to Disneyland 4 months ago...packed.

People who have planned and saved have extra cash on hand...those that didn't are the ones who are hurting to secure an income and pay for over-extended purchases.

Our country, and economy, survives on credit cards. Debt is the answer.

And did you also notice that very few people at Disney World look like they have ever missed a meal. In fact, this place may actually attract the fattest people in the world.

disagree. You will find people from all over the world at Disney this time of year.

Agree ... things are not as bad as you think ... there's still money to spend on extras. Shopping centers are still bustling.

We often spend too much time 'talking the economy down' and if we're not careful this will become a self fulfilling prophecy.

It's Disney World. We could all be unemployed and the lines would still be a mile long.

Depends on whether they paid cash or put it on a credit card.
