How do you make a scar last longer?

This is an odd question, I know. I know how to try to get a scar to go away, using gels, creams, silicone sheets and the like...

but about 3 months ago I got a cut and now it's a scar, but I kind of like it. It's nearly the same color as the rest of my skin, but I can feel that it's an indentation, like a line of skin cut out, for lack of better description.

How can I make it last longer?

Update:

Oh, and the scab is long gone...

It's definitely at scar stage.

had the same type of scar on my arm from a cookie sheet. I've had it for about 4 years now finally have just a small indention. I don't really know how to make a scar stay there but I wish I did. I have a nike logo type scar on my stomach lol

If it's still decently fresh, try picking at the scab. Making your body re-heal itself will make it stick and last for a very long time.

Even if it's not still fresh, pick at the skin. If you break the skin enough it will stay longer
