Obama's New Approval Rating Numbers.?

The new Rasmussen Poll shows 56% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance so far. Forty-three percent (43%) disapprove. Also, 58% of the country thinks American is heading in the wrong direction.

Obama's numbers have fallen quite a bit in 6 months. When do you think the majority of the country will be against our current president? When unemployment hits 10%?

Update:

Sassy: dont listen to those juked unemployement jobless claim stats! Unemployement will be at 9.7-9.9% after this month.

Yes, I think you can plot the unemployment rate vs. the Obama disapproval rate, and the crossover will be at or near the 10%/50% point on the graph. Beyond that point, Obama's disapproval rating may move with other factors, such as rising taxes and inflation. Therefore, his disapproval rate may not come down, even as the economy begins its recovery and hiring picks up again.

Yeah his numbers have been falling for a while. Bush had more than 90% rating at one time too, so expect the Obama numbers to continue falling.

OOPs almost forgot the linky I know how you liberals are about those. I even used a liberal news source CBS. I'm sure you liberals will only quote the headline but, the facts are there all be it half way down the page but you can't dispute it and in the end that's what a was shooting for..

It's a sure bet that when our currency collapses (through hyperinflation) the people will FINALLY wake up. Meanwhile, I don't trust polls much unless I can see the questions which were asked.

The numbers are UP and the numbers are DOWN. That's the American way. It will continue to fluctuate!!

Ah.. but he is still a rock star.. so what do the Democrats care.. they wanted a personality and they got one.. they shouldn't expect he can be a statesmen and president too.

That's weird. Even Fox News has him at 62%

Anything over 50 is awesome for a President.

Actually unemployment claims are down today, the most since January.

Wishing the President fails, isn't going to make it so.

most polls have him at 60 or better. Going by one poll Obama was going to win the election by 20 percent over McLame. When you look at all the polls he is around 60 percent which is good.

The right track / wrong track has actually been going down slowly since he took office. At that point close to 65 percent said we were going in the wrong direction.
