PETA is sending him a Humane Bug Catcher. The press has taken their small comment out of proportion. They never meant for it to become such a big issue. They have stated "We have lots of other items on our agenda, as you can imagine, and PETA's focus will remain on our core issues—promoting alternatives to eating animals, opposing fur and products made from animal skin, opposing laboratories that torment animals, and fighting the abuse of animals in circus training camps." They aren't too worried about something this small. But they are doing what they can to promote animal rights, even insects. If there is another way of handling insects, they are going to promote it.
They are extreme in many cases but they get their point across. And they have done more for animal rights than any other organization or person. I am a supporter.

As an animal enthusiast, i despite PETA with a passion. I mean, Ingrid Newkirk is a hypocritical lady. I mean, funding terrorist to bomb animal labs and spreading the message that It's alright to bomb testing facilities and throwing stuff at meat eaters at KFC is really irresponsible. I hope she gets bit by a snake or eaten by a crocodile. Ironic.

PETA = Morons... They are more for the publicity of it all and not for the actual human treatment. It is a joke, really. I hadn't heard of this "humane bug trap"... but I always say, if it's a bug, kill it... if it's big enough, put it on a hook and catch you something nice ;-)
