Iphone 3.0 slowed down my phone?

So yesterday I update my iphone 3g to os 3.0. now it is a pain to open itunes and the app store. it takes at least 30 seconds to open and some of the time it doesn't even open at all. a lot of my apps are alot slower to open too. and my internet is slower too. anyone else had this problem? any fixes? i thought it might be because i use memory info to free up ram, but im not sure. i reset my network settings but it didnt really help. any suggestions?

yeah, i noticed the same thing happened to mine too. pretty common for most of apples products, unfortunately. as for texting, i noticed deleting some of my old messages made it somewhat faster. but overall, the 3.0 update did make some of the features pretty slower. it's pretty buggy at times too - my iphone will freeze at times, and when i try to scroll with my finger like normal, the screen will remain unresponsive and stay still. hopefully apple releases a patch update to fix these issues.

It may be because of the avaliable memory. Because with my 8GB i have 6GB left over and my phone is a little more alert than when it was with the 2.2 software. I wouldn't say quicker(except online) but its a little less laggy if that makes sense.

Weekly i go though my iPhone and delete apps etc that im not using because all it does is slow down my phone and stuff. I also just do random hard resets(pressing the home and sleepwake button at the same time) and this makes my phone better in performance because the phone is literally a computer and should be treated like one.

penal complex breaking your iPod touch will make it a dash laggy and sluggish at situations... yet there are reward of penal complex breaking it. It won't wreck your iPod touch/telephone yet once you're having some problems or issues after penal complex breaking, you are able to continuously fix you iPod touch/telephone to that's common settings (do bear in techniques the restoring that's going to erase all your apps and records, of course till you sync them onto iTunes)
