Well, do you want to play with your dad on the same console? This can be done on the Xbox or the PS3 if you go to multiplayer, and don't connect to Live. There should be some option for local play, competitive or co-op. To unlock better guns, you have to gain levels in the online portion, sadly. However, just because they're unlocked later doesn't meant they're better. The MP-40, which is unlocked at level 10 I believe, is statistically the best gun in the game. You also need to experiment which guns you like; you do better with the ones you like and feel more comfortable with.

If you wana play him you have to go to multiplayer then split screen and you have to level up on internet(xbox live / ps3 network) ect......

but you get coustom guns if your not playing online!

go to Co-Op mode, you can play Nazi Zombies or the regular game BUT NOT ONLINE. Its a one player game online only!!!
