will a Memory stick pro 8gb work on my psp?

i have a psp version 2006, with firmware version 5.03. i want to know before buying one

    It'll work, you'll be able to transfer content to it yes.

    But when it comes to magic memory sticks, this cannot be used.

    If it is a memory stick pro "DUO", then it will, but I think that's what you mean, because I don't think they make "memory stick pro"s
