What is a good college to go to?

I am a 4.0 student in the US, I am an Eagle Scout, State and Regional Level gymnast, and am looking for a way to find a very reputable college with a good educational system that provides education in either Psychology, Buisness, or Pre-Law (US) areas.

I dont care if the school is in the US just that it is in a English Speaking Country, what is a good college in or out of the US that is relatively hard to get into, provides a good education, but has lots of financial non-need based aid?

Thanks

Update:

Thanks, fo da suggestions, I know its broad but still, Im just trying to find some suggestions that will jog my memory or immagination as to where Id like to go, I get really specific and have a hard time zooming out to find other schools when I think of thist stuff. Thanks XD

well that is a veryyyy broad question, in or out of the US??? uh...that account for ALL the colleges in the world that is (well...pretty decent since you have 4.0 gpa). let's assume that you want to go to college in the US, then Brown, Georgetown, Washington Univ, Washington Univ in St. Louis, NYU, Northwestern, UCSD, UCLA, Duke, UChicago, UMichigan, UTexas--Austin, UVirginia, too many to list out lol.

A lot of the schools that are relatively hard to get into (such as the Ivy Leagues, Notre Dame and Georgetown) ONLY provide need-based aid. They can fill up their class rosters with highly capable people who can pay their own way (via their parents) or who require need-based aid. However, there are a lot of American schools that provide merit-based aid. Here is a partial list of schools:

    Brandeis

    Mt. Holyoke

    Holy Cross

    Boston College

    Boston U.

    Fordham

    NYU

    U. of Rochester

    St. Joseph's (PA)

    Muhlenberg

    Bucknell

    Dickinson

    Allegheny

    Gettysburg

Washington College (MD -- generous aid for National Merit Scholars)

    Johns Hopkins

    St. Mary's of Maryland

    George Washington U.

    American U.

    Washington & Lee

UVA (but their Jefferson Scholarships are only available to students from certain high schools)

    UNC-Chapel Hill

    Davidson

    Emory

    U. of Florida

    U. of Miami

    Vanderbilt

    Rhodes

    Berea College (KY)

    Kenyon

    Denison

    College of Wooster

    Ohio Wesleyan

    Case Western Reserve

    Bowling Green

    Kalamazoo

    DePauw

    U. of Chicago (I think)

    Laurence U.

    Ripon

    Macalester

    St. Olaf

    Grinnell

    Washington U.-St. Louis

    St. Louis U.

    Hendrix (Ark.)

    Tulane

    Loyola-New Orleans

    Trinity (TX)

    Texas Christian U.

    Southern Methodist U. (probably)

    Rice

    Baylor

    U. of Texas at Dallas

    Scripps

    Occidental

Most state universities offer merit scholarships as well, using them as lures to attract out-of-state students or retain top students from their own states.

Yes there a few schools wherein you'll take the ones sorts of categories, however they're most of the time the group university ones. four 12 months tuition ones require a kind, probably cash to use, and essays. I had taken a cake redecorating magnificence as soon as at a group university. And sure, I did meet my partner at university. It used to be our freshman 12 months at Michigan State University. We are supposed for every different!

I suggest that you not waste your time, stick to ivy league schools. They're very prestigious.
