I am living/studying at a small rural college in the middle of Kentucky and am looking forward at where I want to move (definitely urban) but most importantly, looking for a great place to dance, preferably Blues, Swing (any style), Contra, and other social and couples dance, as well as Tektonik, Milkyway, Charleston and other solo dances.

My question where are some of the best cities and places for the different forms of dance?

I know a lot about the Contra world, but near nothing about the modern world of dancing outside of Contra.

Im a newbie to poetry and a super newb to romantic poetry, any good stuff you peeps would suggest?

My Zune 120 sometimes spazzes out and deletes all music on it, and sometimes acts funny in other ways but moslty it will just act normallly and then just delete all music, videos, and everything else... what can I do? whats goin on?

I am a senior, just retested the ACT, with little prep, so Im sure I can do better as I only had 1 day to prep this time, and got a 25.

However, I have a 4.0+cumulative gpa weighted and around a 3.86 unweighted with 2 college classes this year, an intership, plenty of letters of recomendation.

I have over 100 hours community volunteering service in the last 6 months alone, and by march I will also have Eagle Scout.

Can I get into Columbia and if not can I get into an Ivy league? if no what can I do to make my situation prime for gettin in?

Plenty of recomendation letters from many types of people from volunteer coordinators, to radiology techs, to former members of the wheather underground...

What would be a good college to apply to and what kind of financial aid should I apply for... I dont have any scholarships applied to so far I know I shoulda done alot more and yes Im in my senior year...

I am a US student, what would it take to get residency in canada say in toronto or vancouver, so that i can gain the benefits of the reduced price for getting into U of T or UBC?

I am a gamer and very mobile, can Cricket handle games like WoW and other MMOs?

I am a 4.0 student in the US, I am an Eagle Scout, State and Regional Level gymnast, and am looking for a way to find a very reputable college with a good educational system that provides education in either Psychology, Buisness, or Pre-Law (US) areas.

I dont care if the school is in the US just that it is in a English Speaking Country, what is a good college in or out of the US that is relatively hard to get into, provides a good education, but has lots of financial non-need based aid?

Okay, here is a summary of who I am,

3.89 Gpa (after Junior year, ill prolly be around 4.1 with the 16 cumulative semesters of honors classes Im taking next year, oh and it is very likely that that will make me Valadictorian at my school)

Eagle Scout (which also means I have over 40 hours of comunity service, probably around 50-60, and several leadership positions)

State and Regional Level Gymnast (power tumbling and double mini)

There are a few other things but those 3 are the biggest +s I can put on my resume

Okay, so where I want to go....

Any of the following schools I would love to go to,

Stanford

USC

NYU

Collumbia

Harvard

Yale

(and as a safety college in my state that is probably much easier to get in just in case, Colorado College (although that is a last ditch kind of thing)

Kay, so my question is,

1.) Can I get into these schools? is there anything I can do to make my chances better?

2.) What is teh best way to go about getting financial aid other than entereing a thousand essay, video essay, or project based scholarships? (grants, full rides, whatever) (I am not a "need" based person, my family used to be uper middle class and is now middle to lower middle class)(I am white, and have a history in my family of going to college, not INCREDIBLE colleges but decent, mom went to U of Houston, Dad went to Southwestern University, Uncle went to UH and other Uncle went to Rice, Grandfathers, Dads side went to Rice, Mom's side idk)

Ive met a few girls in real life but it will be 2 and a half months till I am in a heavily social environment agian (effin summer) so I want to find a way to meet someone, even if it is online. The more reliable the better, I might have a web cam soon so... till then I only have txt

I have a 23 on the ACT, ya I know, standardised tests are not my strong suit.

What should I expect to pay for say going to NYU (out of state) or Collumbia, if I get in...

Okay idk why I ask this, Im not immature I dont act like a 6 year old and nobody acuses me of this.

Im not anti social, Im not "cool" but I have only one true enemy at my highschool, and over 10 friends, and I dont mean fans, I mean people I genuinely enjoy being anround and feel that they feel the same,

I start an Internship provided by my highschool next year (senior year) for first semester in addition to college classes in addition to regular high school classes.

No teacher is an enemy of mine, I generally dress well, I take pride in how I look and how I act, I dont dress like a slob but I dont dress like a geek or a yuppie, I generally am in a nice T Shirt and Jeans (no effin fruity kapri pants like all the effin "cool kids" )

Anything else I can do?

Oh and the main motivation is I dont have a gf (and have never had one), Im not ugly and I am genuinely very kind, maybe too much so, because I represent to the "girl friends" of mine ( close friends who happen to be girls, not partners or anything like that, the only adolescent male who gives a **** about them, from their relationships w/ their parents to everything else, its like I immediately become only a friend lol it sucks.

Oh and used to be Homeschooled, but that was a while ago.

Hey, I am a recovering WoW addict, I kicked the game in January, and have done really well for myself since. But I have to admit, I am to some extent a gamer at heart, I still long for the PvP heart pounding thrill and the PvE beauty. I want to know is there anyone out there who has, been addicted and then somehow controlled the addiction, or someone who has beeen addicted, kicked it and then started again in a contolled manner (controlled meaning 1-1.5 hours a day max.

another reason for wanting to play for me is two of my best friends play and I dont see them very often, neither plays hard core, but they do play.

I deleted my account and destroyed all my characters so if I started again it would be from scratch so I think it would be easier to go slow and play for short periods.

What do you think?

Hey, just an intro,

I am an overachiever, have an almost 4.0, just joined a highschool a few months back, I am 17, a gymnast ( and not just a bit athletic, I am a level 6 tumbler and 7 double mini (just got back from Lubbock for regionals)) I am almost an eagle scout and have plenty of friends, not fans, but FRIENDS, but I have still not had a gf, I have 2 girls who have said love you besides my mom, but they said so I think just because we are really close friends ( both of which have bfs and I have only known for a few short months) I have a date for prom this weekend, but she is a friend of a friend and I know her from only a few iming conversatoins 1 on 1, she doesnt have a bf, so I am hopeful but she apparently just came out of a bad realtionship, and isnt over the guy, so Not thaaaat hopeful. What should I do? and if nothing happens between her and I what should I do (OUTSIDE SCHOOL) to find a gf?
