U of T and UBC cost about the same.
Here are the international fees listed for all programs at U of T. Scroll down to International Students and click the program of your choice. Fees are usually $20,000 CAD, which is about the same in American dollars (since it is at par with CAD).

Not sure about living costs...it says somewhere else on the site, just do a google search if you really want to find out. Probably expect at most 10,000 CAD.
Why are you interested in Canada? With a 4.0 GPA, I think you should stay in the US...some universities there are better than UBC or U of T.
U of T is a lot of work. St.George campus has harder papers and marks hard. UBC is not easy either. But I think U of T is better than UBC.

Don't go to U of T if you're not willing to spend at least 30 hours a week studying and learning minute details in every course, don't want to scare you but just a warning.
