What is a good router for the PS3?
I plan on getting a ps3 very soon. I am looking for a good router (best one preferred) (you can also recommend good price too). Im new to the networking/router stuff. Basically my pc with internet connection is downstairs towards the front of the house and the ps3 will be 1 floor up towards the back of the house. Less than 100 feet. BUT I will have to buy long cords and drill some holes for it (for the firmware) because the firmware needs to be downloaded via wired connection. So which is best? wired or wireless? Please give me as much info as possible. Thank You.
i have Verizon as my ISP with a 6100F Modem.

I don't play PS3 but I know that LINKSYS is very good but it might take time figuring out the NAT so you can play with anyone online. Once your figure that out its great.

it depends if ur router is somewhat closer to ur ps3 then go for wireless, but then again wired would be ur best choice. try both and try to play online and see if u experience lag, but any router will do.
for my router is right beside my ps3 their ownly 1 feet apart, so i use wireless, and it works perfectly.
