COUNTER STRIKE server problems?
i just downloaded counter strike source from this torrent:

i dont know anything about how to get on a server. the default servers are all outdated and i dont know how to updaye them/go on new servers with other players. can i have a plain english step-by-step tutorial on how to do this so i can play please. thank you!

Yo, ive seen many people with your problem and as it is very easy to fix. There could be many things happening one is the guy that left the answer above, but if that doesnt work make sure that in your Counter Strike Source Properties that Auto-Update "Keep Up to Date" is on. Also another reason this might be happening is that the server you are trying to connect to might not be a Css server, this happens to me when i check my friends servers and try to connect to them but they end up playing a totally differant game. Im a professional gamer and you need tips or any more help dont hesitate to add me on steam. Name is Racecam Hope is works out for you =P
