I drive through a farm town on my way home from work. I know that horses need space, water, hay, and a lot of grazing area. This house I pass sometimes has a single horse in the same farm town with a tiny chain link enclosure, is it ethical that a horse can have free range at night, and be kept in a small area with adequate food and water? I only see it in there at night, and since there are many equine farms around I do NOT want to make any unnecessary trouble. My expertise is with dogs, not horses...which is why I am asking.

My boyfriend, best friend and I are in our early 20s and have been talking about the idea of being roommates for about a year. I love my bestie to death, but there have been too many warning signs of this being a bad idea:

- She got into a car accident (months ago) loosing her car, doesn't seem to be looking for a new one.

- I cart her to work multiple times a week because of this (over an hour away).

- Said rooming is a great idea because "if you're ever behind on rent, your roommates can always back you up!"

- Already owes me money I know ill never see again.

- Refuses to learn how to cook for herself

- Spends money going out every other night

- Missed payments on her loan, therefore has bad credit

- Recently stated after using the atm that her "<1.5k balance wasn't too bad"

She has an offer to move in with her inseparable (boy)friend for much cheaper, but won't because they're not in a relationship yet. I planned to view an apartment with my boyfriend tomorrow, so I need to address this right away. How should I go about telling/convincing/"intervention" her that she's not ready without ruining our friendship?

i have an Iomega 1.5 TB external hard drive i got about a year ago. the power light turns on but my computer wont recognize it. i havent used it in a while, so i dont remember what i did when i last had it. also, i noticed a burnt plastic smell near the power outlet. is it fried? or could i send it to someone to get fixed? :/

i dont know anything about how to get on a server. the default servers are all outdated and i dont know how to updaye them/go on new servers with other players. can i have a plain english step-by-step tutorial on how to do this so i can play please. thank you!

my friends seem to have a serious obsession with me. i cant stand it. my ex's especially...to the point where they're extremely dependent on me. even to the point where ive been stalked and harassed. ive lost contact with most people because of it. its extremely frustrating. has this ever happened to you?

i have the old ipod mini. the wire was working fine for a while, but it randomly wouldnt sync or even be recognized by my computer. ive always downloaded new versions of itunes and their updates. the weird thing is that it still charges the battery. has this happened to you? any suggestions on how to solve this problem? (other than buying a new one)

im looking to make a site from sctratch, using my knowledge of HTML and all i can find are sites that use premade layouts which are highly annoying. its a shame geocities was discontinued. i was wondering if anybody knew of a host site that lets you edit the HTML properties? i appreciate it :)
