I've heard claims for the Isley Brothers. Any other candidates?

    Yea Isley Brothers In Between the sheets has been sampled many times as well as footsteps in th dark..But Issac Hayes has been sampled many times as well..

    Queen is up there I think.

    Aerosmith was used in an Eminem song, as well as their remix of "Walk this way" with Run DMC in the 80's.
