Serious problem with friends, should I get police/parents involved?
I'm no longer friends with them anymore (obviously) but these three girls have decided to make up a rumor that they have several dirty pictures of me that I sent to this guy that I hung out with. Fact is, I never sent him any dirty pictures, but this guy is one of the girl's ex, so they're pissed that I hung out with him even once. They've all been verbally abusive and harassed me, and I have texts to prove this. They've called me many names, and called me "stupid, dumb" and said many demeaning things.
If I could, I'd go to my parents, or the police, and tell them what's up, and get the girls in trouble for this. I'd have no problem being a narc if they got what they deserved. But, the girls know I smoked weed, and so they would go straight back to my parents and tell them this. At this point, I still wouldn't pass a drug test, so I can't do this yet. What do I do?

I'll bet every time they say something about the "dirty pictures", someone wants to see them. But they don't have any, do they. So word gets around that they are just being bitchy. If you take the high road, and ignore this, it will blow over. Meanwhile, try hanging out with a better class of people.

The police won't show up to the crime of calling someone stupid. You said yourself, (basically), you have far more to lose from making a bigger deal out of the whole thing. Looks like it's time to find some new friends that maybe you could develop a little more loyalty toward.

Never involve the police, trust me on that one. Obviously if you find someone dying of alcohol poisoning you call an ambulence, but don't ever call the cops on anyone.. Big mistake. cause chances are it's YOU that has to go to court.
Just wait it out. It'll blow over in a month or so. Do your homework and ignore them.
