Well that's seems pretty high to have 60% permanent partial disability (PPD). Your hand must be completely some how unable to move, major loss of motion, sensation and such.

Are you back working for your company? Are you able to do the same normal duties prior to your work injury? Since you've already been rated it appears you might have already been released back to work or participating in a vocational rehab plan.

Ratings is different in each state, so the numbers provided below are merely just estimates and experience. Each state has different rates and different formulas.

    18% would be approximately $5000-$11,000

    60% would be about $20,000-$35,000

It's likely that you won't get the 60% and the state is likely to review this. It appears since since both parties can't agree to this a hearing will be requested to resolve PPD.

Well, is workman's comp paying now? you will be entitled to a certain amount based on the state you live in. Then, if you can't go back to the job you were doing and can work doing something else, the w/c will be cut. If you can't work at all, then the w/c will continue to pay each month. Really more details are needed

Your lawyer needs to tell you - but there's no pain & suffereing with workers comp.

There's a HUGE discrepancy between 18% and 60%. My guess is, you're going to be seeing some more doctors.
