I've been to webster hall in NYC for a friend's 21st. $400, honestly, is not gonna cover anything. I brought $250 with me for the whole night and I ended up owing another friend that came $75 after I ran out of cash....drinks are $10+ no matter what you're getting. In the end my friend that turned 21 wished she had it somewhere else bc we were all broke for the next 2 weeks! Turning 21 is a big deal so I wouldn't go anywhere that would require you to budget.

Why are you paying? If you are going out for your birthday, they should pay! Having said that, let them have the $400 to add to their party budget. Unless you are getting a private room/area (have only been to Webster Hall for concerts, never seen it set up normal), you shouldn't have to pay extra.

    Happy Birthday!!!
