Why do most black people act so racists toward whites?

I see this all the time on the media and at school.Since I go to a mostly black school I always hear the black kids say racist stuff to the white teachers and students like "White people ain't got no booty" or "White people always doing (insert word or phrase)", especially when they get mad.

I especially can't hear the end of it in the media.Every time I turn to a show like House of Payne or anything with black people on it they always say stuff like "We as African Americans..." or "Too many black youths are...", which wouldn't be a bad thing if it wasn't always stressed.

And why do most black people always need a black role model to look up to,for example, a lil black kid wants to be a karate master but doesn't do it because he doesn't see a black man or woman doing it even when there's hundreds upon hundreds of other successful men & women who's not black doing it.

Why do most black people play the race card, like if they get kicked out a job they always go on the news crying "racial discrimination" even though 8 times out of 10, its not.Why do some feel like all white people STILL owe them something for slavery that happened years ago, the Jews were tortured by the Nazis in Germany but they don't start rioting every time a German or someone with nazi ancestors walk by,Why, because it's old news.

Another thing that gets me is how movies about black people almost ALWAYS involve someone in the hood or someone in the gang tyring to get out. Or someone cheating or getting pregnant at 16, and its suppose to represent a lot of black people accurately.

I do realize that there is still racism but that's for every race, not just for black people.Slavery was wrong but that's dead and gone.

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry if you have suffered under any racial tension whether it's was caused by a black or any other person. Racism is wrong.

Blacks and the Media. In order to understand it you have to get your facts straight. When it comes to black television and how certain characters are played most of the time it is based on a black stereotype perpetrated by money hunger business executives (being black or white) who feel that an accurate depiction of blacks is not that profitable. Today the images of 'blacks in the hood' is just another stereotype, same as Jim Crow and Sambo. You know that not all black men run around selling drugs and cheating on their wives and girlfriends. Nor do all black girls get pregnant at 16. These are stereotypes Hollywood use of us to make money. They think blacks often being portrayed this way is more profitable than presenting him as the all American black boy next door. And the reason Tyler Perry use lines like "We as African Americans" or" Too many black youths" in his show to stress specifically to blacks certain issues that are crucial to our community.

Black Role Models. The reason we say we need black role models is because most of the time when we look in places of authority and prosperity we don't normally see a colored face. It's a white one. We need someone who looks like us to reflect achievement and possibilities the same as you do.

The Race Card. The reason the race card is thrown out there is because people are still racist and discriminatory against people of color. Some of us might still feel you owe us because of this reason. We feel cheated and every time we see a rise in hate crimes (and it has risen) we feel threatened and old wounds are opened up again. Racism hasn't died and it's not old news.

Slavery is dead, but don't you fool yourself into thinking racism is.

Frankly Jarius, I think you were a brave person to ask these questions and I applaud you for your openness and honesty and trying understand why we feel the way we do. I think one way of ridding ourselves of the curse of racism is to open up a sincere dialogue about it and then try to find a way to heal.

Good question. I agree it is partly a defense mechanism, they are so frustrated and feel so humiliated about what happened to their ancestors that they believe white people owe them something.

The anger about slavery has lingered so long that they feel like nothing they do or say will balance or neutralize what happened to them hundreds of years ago. They feel untouchable; anything you say which seperates them from white people is seen as rascism, yet they can rabbit on about how the white man is a weedy, geeky, slimy peice of crap.

If a white man interviews a black man and a white man for a job, he now feels obligated to give the black man the job, out of fear of being labelled biased or rascist. Black people have a constant chip on their shoulder, thinking they are constantly being persecuted, yet they can be openly offensive towards white people and choose a black man over a white in situations because hes his "black brother". Now if a white person did this he would most certainly be labelled rascist.

Also about 96% of black people who voted in the US Presidential elections voted for Obama, as opposed to just over 50% of white people. Now for the white voters this shows they were quite close with the vote, showing proper reasons for voting, taking into consideration of policies etc, an even vote seems realistic. However a 96% vote by black people for obama shows an obvious biased vote, purely based on the reason that they wanted a black president.

Now if 96% of white voters voted for Mcain, black people would be screaming rascism and their would be riots everywhere by black people. It is this debt that black people think white people owe them, that make them untouchable.

The fact is black people are the main cause of trouble and crime in the USA, and people are afraid to say this, because of the scare of being called rascist.

I am not in the slightest bit rascist nor do I stereotype people, however I have noticed the overwhelming reverse rascism that has arisen in the past years that needs to stop now. I do not at all deny rascism comes from all sides, however rascism by black people has been muffled and rascism by white people is amplified and frowned upon so much more.

Slavery is dead and gone, but as long as black people can get something out of making white people guilty, black people will be "angry" about it.

I will admit that I have seen some people do this. But then again I have also seen gay people who blame everything on their sexuality and women who blame everything on their gender. I don't do it because I don't play the victim. And there is nothing wrong with wanting a black role model. I will admit that there are some movies that don't depict black people in the best light. Just like most movies about Italians have to do with the mob. The fact is that most people use something as an excuse.

I agree, but then again many people from different races are racist-not just whites as many believe. I think that everyone should just step outside of the box and let this racism thing be over with because it's tiring and it's just plain old. Is what's inside that counts.

Defense mechanism. They feel unwanted in society and inferior to white people so they lash out to preserve pride and dignity. It's really sad. Black and white relationships have been so tarnished by the past, ignorant racists, and the media that I don't even know what can be done to relieve racial tension.

I don't know? Just maybe, its how we are all tough at home, school, T.V. and in books. Family or friends teach us this hate. It's just around us daily. It is so sad.

A young African woman pick on me at one point for being "white" I told her don't judged a book by its cover. .....She would not listen.

My people were also taken from their homes of Spain. Yes, Spaniard kicking-out Spaniard. Over a religion? Is that wild?

I'm Sephardi Jew. (Spanish-Jewish). I still have too keep my Jewishness hidden for safety. Even today. But that's okay. We can't make everybody happy. They will have find it within their heart too change.

yea i've seen it too.but I can say for myself as a african american that I dont do that at all,yes some people in my family do it and i may not agree with it but I honestly dont know why they do it. All races can be racist as far as i am concerned. The whole race thing is so old and it really needs to be put to a end.

Because you act racist toward us. Treat people the way you yourself want to be treated.

Dont get me wrong I love white people, especially even more because I have a white family.. the way i act is more black than white but my race isnt more black than white or more white than black.. so i treat them the same as anyone else.. but sometimes i say bad things about them because its true, or they have either got me mad.

sometimes i joke about them, which i dont see no harm in doing..

and yeah i know i hate the way they make them black movies it makes whites think all black people are ghetto.. im in the UK on vacation and you should see the amount of white people who are pregnant at 16, my cousin her friend is 14 and she's pregnant... its all sterotypism (however u say it)

Not most, only some. Didnt you know that bigots and racists come in all colors. You may as well ask why the rest of the world is racist while you're at it.
