Hair straightening involves either extreme heat or chemicals, both of which cause damage to the hair and hair follicles. Hair straightening processes can leave you with burnt and thinning hair, hair follicle damage, hair breakage, and hair loss.

Dry and flaky hair and scalp, thinning of the hair, and hair loss may be apparent right away or in several days. Processes that are known to cause the most hair follicle damage include thermal reconditioning, hair extensions, chemical straighteners, and intense sunburn.

If you straighten your hair more than three times per week, it will almost certainly go like barbie hair, then brittle and be able snap off. This happened to my dad's girlfriend and it took her years of using special shampoo to get it not as bad. Have a look around on hair care websites and see if there are any other reasons for your hair being so weak.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aM5HD Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

Maybe your hair loss is because your worried about your mom. You may not think you are under stress but having a sick mom can cause stress, which in turn can cause all types of physical problems, even weak hair. good luck honey

My mom straightened her hair when she was a kid and now her hair is really dry. It causes split ends, hair loss, and dryness. She has tried many different things to restore it but nothing works. Her hair is permanently dry!

Yes, it can in the long run.

    * You are more likely to damage your hair if you use both hair dye and a relaxer.

    * If you do color your relaxed hair, some hairdressers say you should use a semi-permanent dye. They say it will cause less damage than a permanent dye.

    * Refer to product directions and talk to your hairdresser because different relaxers have different directions. Some should not be used when you have dye in your hair.

when you straighten your hair, use an anti frizz cream or a leave in conditiner. this way your hair will be softer. next, go very lightly when you pull the starghtner down. also, which i recomend, use a hair stregthnning shampoo and condidiner

yes it can. You have to use a heat protectant spray every time you use HEAT because like with your skin, heat causes damage. Ever seen old ladies super tan that look like they have leather for skin? That's from years of NO sunscreen or protection. Same with hair. Heat and UV rays are dangerous and you have to use a spray. Always.

Don't straighten your hair so often... It can cause weakening but i doubt it would fall out unless you excessively straighten it.
