Al Gore invented the internet, does that make him responsible for the Iranian Revolution?

The main thing Al Gore invented he came up the confidence scheme that bilks people into thinking that man causes global warming, He laughs all the waye to the bank

He never said he invented it, he said that he took the initiative to get it to be available to the public. That was a right wing twisting of words. He did use the word create, but meant transferring the application from something that was quite small and only available to the government, to something that was huge and could be used by everybody on the planet. So, in a sense, he did create the internet as it is known today. (but he didn't invent it) After all, just because you created brownies in your EZ Bake oven when you were 6 years old, it doesn't mean that you invented the brownie at such a young age.

But to answer your question, yes and no. We would have had the technology available to us eventually without Al Gore. Still, I think Mr. Gore is a great man and a great American. I honestly believe that this country would be in a better place today had the Supreme Court upheld his win of the popular vote against George W. Bush.

Scientists at the US Advanced Research Projects Agency invented the technology in the late 60s, but porting the backbone away from the government and into commercial space was initiated in 1995. Scientists at the Dial Corp invented Spam. Scientists from Zyrcon-7 of the Beta quadrant invented a droid they call Al Gore.

First of all Al Gore didn't invent the internet, and he didn't say he did.

And if the folks in the U.S. were protesting like they are in Iran, our gov. would be kicking their *** also. They've done it before.

The U.S. just needs to stay out of the affairs of other countries and stop trying to get in the middle of every friggin thing that happens in the world.

And no, he is not responsible for the Iranian "revolution".

Very funny. In case anyone is unaware, Al Gore did NOT invent the internet. He did however, make sure it was put in all American schools and libraries when he was Vice President, which was an excellent idea.

Al Gore did insinuate & mislead some to believe he may have taken a major role in creating the internet. That's almost the same as lying; he plays his global warming scam in a similar fashion, very cleverly.
