DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO BE PERFECT SO THAT YOU WILL BE LOVED?

If you aren't perfect, do you become "unloved"?

I did feel that way during the several months before my wife of 25 yrs left me at the curb in tears saying "get fixed." It has been 14 months now. She has had several empty short-lived relationships (so my daughters tell me).. I know I am not perfect; who is? I am not even sure what "perfect" or "love" is anymore. But I am beginning to trust someone who I can not prove exists: God, again... And to finally answer your question: I am not perfect, but I am loved. I have made new friends, and am beginning to trust the only One who ever loved me for who I am - he One who made me.

I am far from perfect and only loved by a few, but even if I were loved by no one I don't think that it would bother me to much. Love should be unconditional and if it is not then it is not really love.

I've tried to be perfect and it didn't work, so no. If someone doesn't love you the way you are then their not worth it.
