MUMBAI: Similar to the United Kingdom, a year-long management programme will now receive the nod of the Union government's regulatory body, which has decided to amend its Act drawn up in 1987. Till date, only institutes offering a two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) course were given the green signal. B-schools that started a one-year MBA course were considered "unrecognised'' by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
