Did anyone other than those at the very top? To say that Jews benefited from communism is truly laughable.

Jews did not benefit from communism. After Nazism was defeated, Stalin turned his eye to the Jews, and a stigma evolved against any Russians; The people who were there were German spies, especially the Jews. They were sent to the Gulags just like everyone else.

Only the people running the government benefit from Communism. Everyone else has to support it. (Damn that sounds awe-fully familiar.)

If you mean by more oppression then that they did. Other than that they did not have any benefits under communism.
