need tips for keeping my tattoo better moisturized?

I recently got a new tattoo on the nape of my neck. the problem that I'm running in to is that I work 12 hour (minimum) shifts and I don't really have the opportunity to reapply A&D while I'm working. I really just would like to not have it feel bone dry when I come home. tips? saran wrap perhaps?

You don't want to transition to lubriderm if you are still in the first five days. Keep going with the A&D. There is no way you could keep a small container or even a little tube of ointment in your pocket?

There isn't anything you can do, because over lubricating you tattoo can have consequences that are worse than a little ointment deprivation. Relax, you should be fine. Just thin layers as often as you can is all you can do. Whatever you do, do not cover your tattoo with saran wrap.

I wouldn't really worry about it getting dry, I mean, I'm the world's worst at taking care of them after I get them, and all of mine have turned out fine. Anyways, I use cocoa butter, and it keeps it moisturized for a lot longer than any other lotion I know of.. I would try that, and just try not to rub it or peel it.. Other than that, you should be fine..

Lumiderm works. if you put it on in the morning it should last all day.
