Military Benefits and Children?

My daughter's father and I are divorced and my ex-husband is in the military. How do I ensure that my daughter receive all the benefits she is entitled to?

    court order. since medical and dental is a tangible benefit, the amount of child support can be lowered.

    she is entitled to :

    Tricare coverage

    Dental insurance

    an ID card with LIMITED access to the base.. you can buy clothing and food for HER ONLY.. so you would not be able to purchase say a Coach Purse or clothes for yourself. No alcohol, cigs, etc.

    If the Father of the Child is in the Military

    your Daughter is entitled to Child Support...

    Go to: http://www.dfas.mil/

    Click on Garnishment's...

    If the Ex-husband is not the Father of

    your Daughter he doesn't have to pay

    any Child Support or anything else...

    You will have to have a "DNA" Test done to prove it...
