What say you to my first endeavour? Is it truth, or do I have a sham?

Sin (short for syntax, of course) presented this new (to me) form, the Havisham Rhyme, it's a sestet, with a rhyming pattern of ABABAB. The novelty is that the first letter of each succeeding line begin with the last letter of the preceding line.

Update:

We met in the morgue, by a cold cadaver.

Eyes so blue, lips the same, but

She was hot, I had to have her.

Emotion pulsed, I made the first cut,

Nerves on fire, no need for palaver

Shut my mouth, it's time to rut.

Update 2:

I checked back, it's "Harrisham." So please change the last 3 words of the question to "hear a sham." Thanks.

Update 3:

To "Doubt" - Are you speaking in tongues?

To Neonman - I'm glad you appreciate the body of my work.

    The form

    is like a hunk

    of Hormel ham.

    Anyway you slice it

    it's not prosciutto.

I am only on my second cup this morn but I don't follow how your Havisham Rhyme fits this rule: 'The novelty is that the first letter of each succeeding line begin with the last letter of the preceding line.' Other than that your words gave a chuckle to me.
