Does the Jansport warranty cover broken straps?
My strap just broke. I bought the backpack a little over half a year ago.
Does the warranty cover that? Does this fall under the category of wear and tear? is it just me, or does anyone else think that the strap should last longer than half a year?

The Jansport website has a really detailed FAQ about the product warranty and what's covered. That should answer your question. Yes, six months seems short for a strap to break. Did you buy it new?

no, strings will break in fact you should change them at least once every 6 months. so why would they cover it. they are the disposable and replaceable part of a guitar. just go buy a new string at your music store i bet it is no more that a dollar.
