Does anyone know a program that I can download to create gifs from music videos?

Like, say I wanted a gif from a Katy Perry music video, what would be a FREE program that I could download to make those?

    Windows:

    Use print screen to grab image from video.

    Open "Paint"

    Paste into "Paint"

    crop your image

    save as gif

    On Mac:

    aplle/shift/4

    marquee over area to screen grab

    this will create picture 1.png on desktop

    drag .png into preview

    save as gif

    You should already have these tools standard with windows and Mac

    Grab images from:

    youtube

    artists website

    google image search
