E-mail me, I'll give you somew general info but it would help to know where you are, how you are fishing and what you like to do.

First off you can use Natrural bait or artificial lures, I prefer lures but many people like natural bait. If you want to use natural bait "Match the Hatch" that means look around in the water, what kind of baitfish do you see? Use them for bait, either catch them w/ a castnet or go buy some. Popular baits are finger mullet, pinfish, shrimp, crabs, whitebait and cut ladyfish. Rig them on a circle hook and either jig them or put them under a popping cork. If you prefer Artificials try Gulp 4" shrimp on a jighead and jig it on bottom or under a popping cork. StrikeKing makes several Soft baits that are awesome aswell. Also try topwater fishing with Mirrolure TopDogs, TopDog JR, TopPup, or SheDogs. Mirrolure makes great suspending twitchbaits also. Spinnerbaits, spoons and dropshot rigs all have their place too so email me and I can give you specific info. tell me everything you can about what you are doing

I've gotten thumbs down before for what I thought was an acurate answer, guess it wasn't what someone wanted to hear?

    Whats with the thumbs down?!!!

Brandon answered this Q perfectly. He is completely correct. There are "runs" of preferably baits during a season- Shrimp, Pogy/Menhaden, & Mullet. I've seen Reds turn there nose up at a Live Shrimp to get to a 4" Mullet!

Brandon gets my vote for best answer.

(Thumbs to KOF - good answer too!)

    Cheers!
