Brushing yorkies teeth!?
well i have a 4 month old yorkie and i was wondering if i can begin brushing his teeth or not?? and also am i allowed to just give him dog gums (Greenie's teeth) to chew on instead of actually having to brush his teeth (not that i am lazy to but i was wondering what was a better option..)??

Starting to brush their teeth when they are young is a great idea and will get them use to it. It's not difficult and they get use to it pretty quickly. You need to do it several times a week in order for it to really be good for the dogs teeth and gums. The new formula of the Greenies will also help keep the tarter off the teeth as well as keep your dogs breath fresh.

Nothing is as good as you brushing your dogs teeth yourself. When you buy a dogs toothbrush and toothpaste, you can get one that goes over your finger and I would start with one of those and work your way up to an actual brush. It is never too early to start brushing a dog's teeth.

yes, now would be a good time to start so the dog can get used to it, alot of people think its stupid to do this, but i brush my 6 month old labrador's teeth, and my rat terriers teeth every morning.

yes you can do it now..
Greenies are worthless.. and dangerous. They have been known to cause blockages in dogs, and even cause DEATH.
They dont clean teeth anyways.. just a gimmick.
