If your spouse got fat would you join an online support group like myfatspouse.org?

Male spouse here which means I am on my own mostly, we don't exist in the eyes of the Army for the most part. I wanted the information the Company and Battalion leadership put out, but did not want the hustle of cackling hens, archaic "wives" organizations, etc at Ft Drum. Here is what I did at Ft Drum. I sought my information at the installation level and dealt with the ESC/OSC circles. Much more down to business and far less of the gossip mongering insanity. I don\t like the on line stuff unless there is a verification process to prove that the person is actually military and/or a family member. No, we do not need more groups though. We need to fix the FRGs and require a better standard of conduct from leaders, soldiers and spouses.

I might go and look through a website like that, try and get some ideas and see if any of them work. I don't convince my spouse to go on a diet, but I wish he would at the rate he's going he'll be over 300 pounds before too long and that's quite a bit of man to have all sweaty and grunting on top of you.

  • No. Why the hell would I need a support group?

If my spouse was fat I'd be fine with it as long as they were healthy.

Besides skinny dudes can't keep you warm at night.

  • wow..I would help my baby lose the weight and try to be as supportive as possible..My man would never get fat though..He is very slim..If anyone were to get fat it would be me lol i have fat potential..I have to stay in the gym! But still hes not perfect either..U can't leave someone because of flaws..Help them to try and get better.

I'd cut off my spouse's fat and eat it, to make him skinny again, so no.

I already did, but my wife still eats like there's no tomorrow and just isn't very good at getting up off the couch.

No...I'd talk to my spouse and I'd try to encourage them to work out more, I'd even start working out with them if it will motivate them more.

No...it wouldn't even be that serious. She's still gorgeous inside and out. And she's not my spouse..yet. She's my gf.
