Can someone explain to me the entire plot of the first and second Transformers films?
I saw the first one, and am going to see the second one. But I just want a total, highly detailed explanation of the film. If a plot is simpler than I'm used to, it passes me, and I end up not understanding the movie. So can someone basically tell me everything that happens and what the main goal/plot is. First answer that makes sense to me after I see the two films gets 10 points.

The best to my knowledge is that the autobots must protect the humankind from being destroyed from the decepticons. The second movie the autobots must stop the decepticons and the Fallen from destroying the sun and the world.
