frostwire, java & internet connection problems.?

Question

one day out of the blue my limewire stopped working.
my friend suggested frostwire so i downloaded that.
same problem tho, both said they could not connect to the internet & i should check my firewall or proxy or whatever.
my internet works fine & i've disabled norton.
still doesnt work. i tried uninstalling java but now i cant reinstall because of the same internet connection problems.
i just wana be able to download music, its been months.
someone please help me !

I had that happen to me once. It turned out to do with the network (I was at college). When I switched over from limewire to frostwire that helped most of the time.

I'm assuming your internet still works.

You could look into setting exceptions to your firewall. Just make sure that when you are downloading you are careful because there are a lot of trojans/fake music files.

Always make sure there is a bit rate, and the title isn't suspicious (lists several artists is usually a sign)

they both harbor spyware and trojans--never disable ur antivirus protection
un install java and reinstall it---if u can't in normal mode do it from safe mode with internet
don't u read here about all the limewire --frostwire -bearshare problems --p2p is the best way to get hit

VIRUS YOU SILLY
it is firewall or your antivirus stopping what needs to be stopped
man my sis killed one of our computers by doing that since of out of date anti virus software and too much downloading.
LIMEWIRE IS A VERY WEAKLY DONE WEBSITE
HALF IF NOT MOST OF THE SONGS VIOLATE COPYRIGHT.
and frostwire is even worse.......
