Any way to write a mulitpage *.pdf out of Illustrator?

Not sure how your making a multipage illustrator file unless your using CS4.

a) If your using CS4 you need to create your file with multiple artboards. Then when you save as PDF it creates a multipage PDF.

b) If your using pre CS4 and have made a layer for each page. Here is a link to a java script for Illustrator CS2 for dumping layers into a PDF.

Not sure how well it plays with other versions.

c) If you have a massive artboard with pages throughout you need to setup tiled printing. Then preferred way, output to postscript and distill. Not so preferred, using a PDF writer.

d) if those previous answers seem confusing and you do now how to make 16 individual PDFs of each, and have the full Adobe Acrobat... Save each as a PDF. Then in newer versions of acrobat just go File>Combine>Merge Files into Single PDF..

Or on Older versions, just open one file and go to Document>Insert Pages.. and pick the other PDFs to merge

Or open 1 file and then load the Page Thumbnail window on the right hand side of the window. Drag and drop your PDF files right into it.
