I am looking for late model ford sedans (crown vics, mercury grand marquis, lincoln town cars, etc.), 2005 ~ 07. Thing is, I want them wholesale to resale on my lot, or overseas (they LOVE'em over there).

Prefer lower mileage for my customers, though high mileage is good for the overseas buyers. Anyone know any good wholesale auction sites, or what not? Also, interested in late model Chevy / GMC suburbans, tahoes, and the like. Grazie!

So, me and a friend of mine (me - graphic designer, them - photographer) have recently started to wonder why we're not selling our work via a clip art / stock photo site. Having decided to move forward on this, I'd like to get some opinions on the best sites to upload to and sell through. Which have you used? Had the most success with? Which to avoid? Which one's pay the best? Their work will be mostly scenic photography, with basic stock images; and the vast majority of mine will be vector images. In all honest humility, we're both pretty dern good at it. A lot of people have said my illustrator files look like photoshop filters; and they tend to think their's are heavily doctored images, when in fact they're setup and "snapped" that way... Any advice will be appreciated (the better the advice, the more the appreciation. ;-D )

I've picked up a database of what is supposed to be audio loops and samples, but all the files end in: *.sth, *.sti, *.stw (each file is triplicated). What am I supposed to do with these? What program do I need to open them? I really want to get at them, it's close to 3 gigs of sounds! Hate to throw'em all away... Any advice / ideas will be most appreciated! Danke Sheon!

What I'm looking for is a database / archive of sample loop files of ethnic / folk instruments and styles,

such as : banjos, fiddles, country, harmonicas, indigenous sounds from around the world, et cetera.

You know? Something besides the "160 bpm RaveTechnoHipHopTribal Drums" that are so prevalent.

I've a few programs I work in, so can import most any file types.

I'd thought that my power supply had bombed-out, but I've put a new one in and am still not able to power up...

I've a G4 ppc, and I'd had it set-up over at a friends place, doing some work for them, and it was working fine.

Got it home, plugged it all up... Nothing!...

Like I said, I've changed out the power supply and still no power...

What's next? Is it maybe the switch in the front?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How I came into possession of it is a long story, that I want repeat here. Suffice it to say, I AM the legitimate owner of this thing, although...

It has a system lock on it and haven't the password.

I can't get it from the previous owner for another year or so, once he's out of solitary and in a max unit.

Any ideas as to how to get around this thing?

For some reason, I can't get the dern thing far enough open to get to the pins on the motherboard and wipe it that way.

Maybe so people won't do exactly that...

I've a great big prickly pear cactus in my backyard, and it produces quite a bit of fruit. A friend of mine has threatened to make prickly pear jelly if I can bring her enough fruit. When is the best time to pick said fruit?

I've got a scorpion, and have decided to keep it as a pet... but I don't know how to care for it. I've fed her a spider so far, and I think she enjoyed it. I'm only guessing... However, when searching for tips on the net, all I can find is instructions for the care of Emperor Scorpions. This is not an Emperor. She's only as about as big as my thumb (with her tail lain down), a light brown color with a darker brown (almost black) spot on her back. Her claws are little bitty, so I'm pretty sure she's deadly... I'm all right with that. But!, I want to make sure I'm able to care for her correctly. Also, I'm only guessing she's a she... Where do I go to find out this kind of stuff for this type of scorpion? Thanks!

Photoshop has this nifty 'Automate PDF' feature, but haven't seen anything like that in Illustrator. I usually write them out of Photoshop, but want to preserve the vector information, however I don't wanna send the ol'girl sixteen seperate files. I know it can be done, because I've received such files, but I don't know if it's an Illustrator function, or if I'll need Acrobat. Thanks!

I am writing a story. In my story, there is a character who is a witch. Or, as my grandmother would say, a 'Bruja'. See, I'm not sure if that's Spanish, Mexican-spanish, or possibly, a Yaquee word. The character is of Cuban descent, and I would like to keep as accurate as possible (for a work of fiction). So, my question is this: what is the Cuban-spanish word for 'Witch'? But, like, the Village Wise Woman, not a wicked witch, as it were. Actually, if I could get both, that'd be sweet!
