I've a belkin FSD8053 v3 wireless card, and have a laptop running linux ubuntu 9.04: any ideas as to where to find this driver? I've poked around a bit, and hadn'a really come up with much. Any help is most appreciated!

In the event of your Wifi card being unsupported you can use Ndiswrapper Here is the Official Ubuntu Ndiswrapper Documentation

You'll probably have to use the .inf and .sys files that came with the windows driver CD for it. You'll also want to install ndiswrapper, I had to do this for a family members computer recently.
First use the CD and find the .INF and .SYS files, they are usually in a folder marked Drivers.
Next download and install ndiswrapper (use the GUI its easier) open up a terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install ndisgtk
I forget the exact details but its fairly self explanatory once it's installed, just look for Ndiswrapper-GUI or NDISWRAPPER-GTK in your applications menu. Once you open it, you should be able to import the .INF file and it should work for you without issue.
