Help with file extensions?

I've picked up a database of what is supposed to be audio loops and samples, but all the files end in: *.sth, *.sti, *.stw (each file is triplicated). What am I supposed to do with these? What program do I need to open them? I really want to get at them, it's close to 3 gigs of sounds! Hate to throw'em all away... Any advice / ideas will be most appreciated! Danke Sheon!

That group of file extensions seem to belong to Sampletank, a pretty expensive program, not sure if there are any free compatibles.
