Libras: We are described as unpassionate, detached, and unemotional. Who disagrees?

I disagree!

I think i'm more passionate than any of my scorpio friends! Or anybody for that matter. I'm not shallow, deep meaning in everything is important or i get bored. I am very emotional but not to anything... I don't get emotional about 'i love you' and bored things like that. Deep actions get my emotions. Now, detached, i'm pretty grounded and also pretty detached, if i stop seeing a friend, i'll be ok and wish them the best, but i can let go easily. I like nice looking things, but i take a normal looking person with great personality over the greatest looking who can't get into a nice conversation.

My BFF Libra is very similar to me, as the Libras i met.

I'm a Libra and I do not feel that way at all. Usually we are very passionate people especially for the underdogs. Look at John Lennon. But I think the reason that I am so passionate in love is because my Venus is in Scorpio.

It could be from other planets in your chart, that are positioned in the sign Scorpio. Possibly your Venus, or Mercury, or even other planets.

What typically happens with Air signs, including Libra, is that they dislike emotions to a degree. Emotions are experienced as irrational, and therefore somewhat dangerous to their own idea, and view of life.

Ironically, this actually makes Air signs experience emotions very strongly. What tends to happen however, is that they build up defenses around themselves, so they aren't very adept at dealing with them. This is where the stereotype of being unemotional comes from; but everyone has emotions.

It's important for an Air sign, or anyone with prominent air in their chart, to understand that experiencing a feeling of chaos and irrationality isn't the same thing as feeling emotions. Emotions needn't be chaotic. Often, instead of dealing with the emotions head-on, they create some sort of code to live by.

By weaving emotions into a workable framework, they have a place to reference to judge them. Ex: An air sign may say something like, "Your feelings do not coincide with my previously held, and thoroughly tested, view on life. Therefore, your feelings are not rational, and needn't be further considered in this matter."

On the good side, this can help a person to clearly understand themselves, and where they stand on an issue. On the bad side, categorizing their emotions on the mental plane, just masks the intention of making them impersonal, and avoiding them to a further degree.

So, yes. Libra's, and any Air sign, can be emotional to a degree. They just have a unique way of handling them, with good and bad methods, just as any sign.

Im Aquarius, i know many Libra, and my Ex is a Libra, nope, they are very passionate, but yes, many people misunderstood Libra as shallow in emotions, like Aquarians, they just hide, and hold their emotions, they dont want to reveal them, they are very emotional inside though.

i does no longer say your unemotional, you only have extra controls of your thoughts than warning signs do. sometimes Aquarians can substitute into indifferent, yet once you fairly understand them, then you definately understand why and multiple of the time, it has no longer something to do with you. i'm a Virgo and yeah, I study the place it says Aquarians and Virgos are no longer a stable experience, yet one in all my dearest male pals is an Aquarian and in my opinion i think of we'd be a stable experience. He advised me it may take a definite style of guy to delight in each component of me, and that i comprehend him for that. they say Virgos are chilly and unemotional too, yet we honestly have a good administration of our thoughts besides. I disagree. One of my best friends is a Libra and she's the exact opposite. She's a very passionate person, like when she gets mad or just being assertive. It's kind of hard to explain. You just have to observe the way she behaves.

I've always read that. (I have a Cancer sun sign, Libra moon) and thats so not true. I think yes, maybe we do tend to think with our heads, especially when it comes to love. But I am so passionate about everything, and no way am I shallow with my emotions. And I agree with you. When it comes to love, my passion could fill a nation! =)
