Is it rude to say . . .?
. . ."Aren't you glad I told you that" after giving an explanation? I do this more often than 'sometimes' and not notice it. I did this once when I explained something to another user by email, but she didn't respond. Perhaps saying 'aren't you glad I told you that' caused her to avoid me? Anyways, she's not really important or part of the question, just an example. She's LONG gone. I just want your opinions. Do you think it's rude?
Thanx! ^__^

Not rude at all. It is like when someone has been searching for something since a long time and then u helped them by letting them know that which they did not know. So u ask them if they are happy they knew it. It is not egoistic at all, in my humble opinion. Anyway we do not use it in my native language , Arabic.
Good luck!

It could easily be seen as you rubbing it in or attempting to sound superior. State your case, and leave it be.

Not rude - it just sounds a little egotistical........but we're all guilty of that some times.
